Oxidized Paint Repair
The front of this car was repainted with a clear coat urethane but the rest of the car was the factory single stage paint, which as you can see in this screen capture, was extremely oxidized. After Kevin finishes demonstrating the buffing and polishing techniques on the door, the old single stage paint looked as nice as the new clear coat. Screen Capture: Kevin Tetz, 2005.

Stainless Steel Trim Filing
Once the high and low spots are worked out with the pick hammer, Kevin carefully files them flat, before finishing off the piece. It's pretty awesome watching a piece of seemingly ruined trim come back to life. Screen Capture: Kevin Tetz, 2005.
