Rusteco Liquid

Heavily Rusted Cast Iron and Paint

Heavy Rust on Cast Iron

Heavy Rust on Cast Iron

This shows just how effective and impressive a rust remover the Rusteco Liquid is. This is a vibration damper weight off the front of a Ford 8.8" rear end. The same one used in the immersion test in the above GreaseMaster section. This actually shows three of the attributes that the Liquid has as this part has heavy rust, has rubber inserts (see link below) and a painted spot on the backside (shown afterwards below). Weight in Rusteco Liquid

Weight in Rusteco Liquid

Here it is partially immersed in the Rusteco Liquid. I checked it after a day of sitting in the liquid and to be honest, it looked completely de-rusted, but I left it in there for another day just to be sure (I wasn't in a hurry and it was during the work week so I wouldn't have been able to do anything with it anyway). Simply Amazing

Simply Amazing

Not only did it effectively and thoroughly remove the rust as claimed by the manufacturer, but it did so without any sort of abrasive work (that would remove good metal as well as the rust or whatever other coating was applied). Click image to enlarge.

Paint Perfect

Paint Perfect

This is the paint on the back of the weight after sitting in the liquid for two days. As you can see the only thing the Rusteco Liquid did was remove the rust stains that are seen on the half that wasn't submersed for the test. Click image to enlarge.
